The City in Black and White with a touch of color.

I think i like black and white photography the best. It's not all muddied like color photos, and besides i see in color all the time so why not change it up a bit?

Yesterday my SO and his family did the yearly romp in NYC. My camera, as usual, was an extension of me.

Walking to our first bar i snapped this picture. It is amazing what a camera captures that our naked eye can not see.. for instance the shadow

Although, this is a color photo, I lucked out in that when i snapped the photo the sun gleamed off of the star atop of the Rockefeller tree. Talk about great timing!

In Times Square there is a NYPD Hub which we were headed for, but had to wait for this kind officer to allow us to cross the bustling street safely.

The Times Square ball is poised and ready to go, as were we, back home to Joizey.

The view of The City from the ferry terminal. It is a dark photo, but then again it was dark out and the city is pretty far away for my rinky dink camera.
